Chistopher Paul Christophis was born in Alexandria, grew up in Athens, studied in Paris where he lived several years, as well as in Italy and New York. In the cinema he is the creator of the well-known films "Wandering", "Rosa", "Τhe Monkey Queen".

His first two films were internationally recognized at the Cannes, Rotterdam, Mannheim and New York festivals. They received a warm welcome from the foreign press. He was twice awarded at the Thessaloniki Festival.

In the theater he has presented his works "The Comedy of Mythology", "The Rhetoric" and "The Mayfly", a play also performed in English under the title "Mayfly" at London's "Old Vic" in 2000.

For television he has directed the series "Lost Spring", from the novel by Stratis Tsirka and "Viziinos - The Silence of the Angels", which won the big TV awards in 2000. In the opera and theater theater he has directed performances For the Tour de France in France and Ascoli in Italy with works such as "The temptations of St. Anthony", in music by M. Kouzan and "Io Pinocchio" by A. Tserikola, both works in the world first. In Greece, he has directed the musical works of G. Drostiti , N. Xanthoulis (The Tear of the Moon) and P. Koukou's Stage Cantata in his own libretto.

He continues to work in Italy and recently in Lisbon.
