GÉZA M. TÓTH Academic, director, animator, producer / Hungary

Curriculum Vitae:

GÉZA M. TÓTH was born in Hungary. He is an awarded film director, university professor, founder of the KEDD Animation Studio, a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Worked as a tutor at several foreign institutes and universities (Royal College of Art, London, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Ludwigsburg, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad). As a filmmaker, he created short films (ex: Icar, MAESTRO, ERGO, MAMA), experimental art projects (ex: XYZ, The Miraculous Mandarin, The Bluebeard's Castle) and animation tv series (ex: VIVA Channel IDs, Modern Folk-tales, Berry and Dolly, The Grickles). His artworks successfully participated in more than 200 film festivals worldwide and were awarded more than 100 prizes. His animation film, MAESTRO was nominated to the Academy Awards in 2007 in the Best Animated Short Film category.
